Logline: A couple fights for their freedom and sanity while surrounded by fatalities.

Synopsis: After drinks and dinner at a local bar in Chicago, an unsuspecting mid 20’s couple, Karyn and Marcus, enter a train station headed home. Having targeted them before they even left the bar, a psychopath named Benjamin begins twisting their reality and toying with their minds. Distorting everything they experience, Benjamin bends the world around them into nightmarish visions of murder. Each time the couple attempts to escape,  Benjamin increases the intensity and visions to break them mentally. Karyn and Marcus try to stop the murderous acts but realize they can’t touch anyone. All they can do is watch people die. They watch a boy being dragged to his fate, a woman losing her sanity during a collaboration of instruments and dance, a teenager seeking emotionless revenge, and a woman and a few men having an unlucky adventure together. These are only a few of the horrible murders that occur before Karyn and Marcus’s eyes.

Their bodies and minds continue to wear down under the strain as they near hopelessness. Unable to affect the continuous onslaught of murders happening around them, they decide to ignore the visions before them. They feel themselves to be invincible to the chaos. Things change when a shotgun blast nearly ends them both. While they expect to die, a deadly apparition comes back into view and protects them from witnessing such heinous acts. The ghost suggests an alternative to their unlikely escape. With the safety of Marcus’s ailing mother and the couple’s sanity hanging in the balance, it’s at least a choice they didn’t have before. It may be the very thing that ends the nightmare and gets them home or the solution that secures their deaths.
