This is one of the biggest questions and concerns for many screenwriters; How do I land a screenwriting manager?
The answer is complex, unfortunately. I can give you a bunch of different avenues to try that may or may not work. 1 being doing the research for management companies that fit your writing style and send them a professional query letter. However, how I landed mine was simple. I entered screenwriting competition at festivals and won! The recognition I earned for my work gave me the right kind of attention!
If you don't want to enter festivals due to all the entry fees, I completely understand. Me? I had to save for them, I also gained a few sponsorships, and had friends funding me. I was never alone when getting myself into the festivals! I have a strong support system that inspires and motivates me. Not everyone can be so lucky. So, save! Figure out which ones include feedback with every script submission. Some of those festivals are $30 and have incredibly detailed screenwriting judges who go over every single details, good and bad, about your script!
You've got this! Write that script and get it into a festival or ten!
